Orthopedic Residency
Jessica completed a year-long Orthopedic Residency Program with advanced clinical education and one-on-one mentorship in orthopedic care.
Former Division I runner. Fellowship-trained physical therapist. Runner-focused clinician and coach.
Dr. Jessica was born and raised in Maryland and competed as a Division I Cross Country and Track student-athlete at Liberty University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. She later earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University, where she fell in love with Los Angeles.
Her path into physical therapy was personal. Throughout high school and college, running injuries repeatedly challenged her ability to train and compete. Physical therapy helped restore her ability to do what she loved, and that experience ultimately inspired her to help others find a path back to movement, performance and the activities that matter to them.
In high school, Jessica competed in cross country and track, was named Academic Senior Female Athlete of the Year, helped her team win conference and regional championships, and individually placed third in the two-mile race at the Maryland state meet.
She went on to compete for four years at the Division I level in Cross Country and Track. Despite numerous injuries and iron-deficiency anemia, she persevered and earned an athletic scholarship after demonstrating continued success on her team.
Those experiences gave her a lasting appreciation for how much movement, sport and identity can be intertwined—and how meaningful it can be to help someone return to them.

She completed the six-month Advanced Certificate Program, Advanced Functional Biomechanics of the Lower Quarter: Integration of Technology into Practice, with Dr. Chris Powers for high-tech movement analysis, movement re-education and return-to-sport applications.
Her advanced training included working alongside surgeons and treating patients at the Cedar-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute, along with extensive continuing education and mentorship.
Outside of her work, Jessica enjoys running, practicing the Spanish language, spending time with her standard Poodle, Twix, and just about any outdoor activity or adventure.
